Please find outlined below information to ensure that the cottage is suitable for your needs for an enjoyable stay.

Prior to Arrival

  • Enquiries and reservations can be made by email, phone or on-line via the visitisleofman.com availability section. Should you need a bigger font for your postal correspondence, please ask.
  • Directions to the cottage will be sent with the balance of payment receipt.

On arrival at the cottage

  • We have ample private parking space just in front of the front door on a level bricked area. There is a motion sensitive light outside for late arrivals. There is level access in to the cottage and wide doors throughout. We like to meet and greet our guests personally. We are more than happy to help you with your luggage into the house wherever you need it. The porch has a sunken doormat and is tiled.

General information

  • Front door has lever handles and all other doors have large oval twist handles. All areas are well lit.

Accommodation

  • The hall has vinyl flooring.
  • Lounge: There is a short-pile carpet and ample movable seating. There is a remote control for the TV, DVD player and music centre. There is a patio door with a movable ramp to access the sunny patio area.
  • Kitchen: One of the kitchen chairs has arms. There is another patio door with a movable ramp to access the sunny patio area. Kitchen tops are of standard height.
  • Utility: There is a step down at the back door.
  • Double bedroom: There is a lower rail in the left hand side of the wardrobe. There is a short-pile fitted carpet. There is a full length mirror.
  • Twin bedroom: There is a short-pile fitted carpet. There is a mirror above the chest of drawers.
  • Bathroom: The bathroom has a level access walk-in shower which is lever operated. There is a fold-down shower seat with legs. There is a grab rail by the toilet, in the shower and between the shower and sink. Sink taps are lever operated. Toilet seat raiser available on request.
  • Back Toilet: Large sink has twist taps and a pedestal and is not really accessible to a wheelchair.

Additional information

  • The smoke alarm when triggered will give a continuous bell and does not have flashing lights.
  • You are able to use the front, back or patio doors in the event of an evacuation.
